Membership Applications for 2024-2025 and 2025-2026
Thank you for your interest in becoming a member of the Burnaby Citizens Association (BCA)!
Membership dues support the ongoing work of the BCA, helping us advance progressive leadership for Burnaby’s City Council and School Board.
Membership Period
Applications for the 2024-2025 membership period are open until March 31, 2025.
Applications for the 2025-2026 membership period open on April 1, 2025, and close March 31, 2026.
Membership Eligibility
To apply for membership in the BCA, you must:
Be 13 years of age or older.
Have resided in the City of Burnaby for at least 30 days before applying.
Be a member in good standing of the BC New Democratic Party.
Be a Permanent Resident or Citizen of Canada residing in British Columbia.
Not be a member or supporter of another civic political party or independent candidate running in opposition to the BCA in Burnaby.
Membership Fees
Annual membership dues are $10 minimum and are not eligible for tax receipts under BC regulations. Payments can be made to either campaign fund by credit card, using the buttons below. The member fee counts towards your limit of $1,402.40 to each of our School Board and Council campaigns ($2,804.80 total).
How to Apply
Follow one of the two links below, so your membership dues go to support either the Council or School Board campaign funds. Fill out all the required information then pay your dues using the provided link. Payments must be made with a credit card in the member’s name.
